FAQ'S for ONLINE TRAINING
  1. Why should you consider our Online Training?
    • Online training will give you the spontaneity and rich interactivity of face-to-face training from the comfort and convenience of your desk.
    • Maximize the number of individuals who can attend training and increase the frequency and timeliness of training to fit your requirements.
    • Train new-hires, or refresh and update topics for established employees, anywhere and anytime. All you need is a computer, Internet availability and a telephone! Minimum system requirements for our on-line training are listed below.
    • Teach more people on more topics while significantly reducing training delivery costs. Instead of limiting training you can expand it. If you have professional trainers on staff, we can complement or augment their training by covering topics that need reinforcement or refreshing.
    • Dramatically reduce training delivery costs by eliminating all travel and hotel costs not to mention eliminating the hassle and stress of modern travel.
    • While training, all employees stay on your premises. Since online training topics and modules are forty five to ninety minutes in length, students are off the job for short periods of time so it eliminates the need for rescheduling.
    • Our online training will deliver relevant training, superior performance and security, plus the convenience to fit your schedule requirements.

  2. Will I need to invest in new computer equipment and software to participate in your online training?
    No, you will not need to invest in new computer equipment nor in new software. All you need is access to a telephone line, the Internet and a computer. All of our online courses are supported by the WebEx Media Tone Platform Technology, which provides ubiquitous access, regardless of your location, your hardware platform, operating system, browser, and wired or wireless status.

  3. What are the minimum computer system requirements that will allow me to participate in your online training?
      Windows 95, 98, NT, 200, XP:
      Intel Pentium, 166 MHz, 32 MB RAM
      Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, Netscape Communicator 4.x JavaScript and cookies enabled, 56K Internet connection

      Mac OSX 10.2:
      Internet Explorer 5, Safari, Netscape 7, Java VM 1.3.1

      Solaris 8 or 9: Netscape 7, Mozilla, Java VM 1.3.1

  4. How long are your online classes?
    Our online training modules are ninety minutes long, while the Special Short Topics are forty-five minutes long.

  5. Will online classes replace face-to-face Open Enrollment and On-site classes?
    No, our online training programs will not replace our Open Enrollment or On-Site training but will expand our ability to offer you additional training opportunities on a variety of subjects related to your plant or facility. It also will allow you to sample our training in a variety of areas while saving you money.

  6. How do I register for a class?
    Go to our website www.WeTrainIndustry.com, click On-line Training; and then follow the simple instructions. After a successful registration process, you will receive an email message outlining instructions to prepare and join a course.

  7. How much does each class cost?
    The cost for our online training modules is $129 per connection, and the special topics are $79 per connection. In addition to the standard, per connection price, we also offer volume discount prices. Contact us for more information. Price includes class materials, teleconferencing services, including domestic phone charges.

  8. How can I pay for a class?
    You can pay by check, company purchase order or using a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or America Express). Full registration fee must be received prior to the start of the class.

  9. How will I receive the course materials for a class?
    Once you register for a class, you will receive an email with a link to a website where you can download course materials for the class. All course materials are in PDF format, and as such you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the files. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for FREE from Adobe's website. Alternatively, you can let us know if you prefer receiving your material by fax or mail.

  10. How do I join a class I have signed up for?
    After you register for a class you will receive an email message confirming your registration and outlining instructions on how to join the class on the scheduled class date. Fifteen minutes prior to class start time, log onto our online classroom at http://wetrainindustry.webex.com. Find the class you are registered for, and click Enroll/Join Now and then follow the instructions on the screen or in the email message to join the class.
  11. Will I be able to ask the instructor questions?
    Our online training offers interactive and live training sessions between the instructor and students, and among students. You will be able to send questions to the instructor and receive instant answers. Additionally, you will be able to collaborate with other students in small group discussions.

  12. Can you offer a class on a topic that is not on your training schedule?
    Absolutely, contact us if you can't see a topic/topics you are interested in listed in our schedule. We can customize a class just for you and your colleagues. The topics should be related to plant operator profession.

  13. What if I encounter problems joining a class or/and downloading course material?
    Call us at 703-573-4500/703-573-5921 if you are experiencing problems signing up for a class or downloading course material. You can also reach us by email at info@WeTrainIndustry.com. To help us serve you better and faster, please indicate name of the course, nature of problem and your system specifications, when you contact us.

  14. What if I am unable to attend a class for which I have registered?
    No problem! If you are unable to attend the course for which you are signed up, you can substitute another person from your organization in your place, or transfer your registration to another date, or another training program of equal cost without penalty. We will need to receive your request for transfer or substitution in writing at least five-business day prior to scheduled class date.
